Claiming credit for something that is being given as a promo is really a big laughing matter. This P0.50 cents text messaging fee is only a promo from telcos and will run for only three months. The government officials are now hoping that telcos will make this promo permanent.

July month Of My Wedding Anniversary

July is the sweetest month for me because this is the month of my wedding anniversary. On the 10^th day of this month we would be celebrating our 24^th year of wedded bliss.

Our children are planning a simple but memorable event in observing this joyous occasion. We are planning to eat at the Chinese restaurant either at China Town or at the Tong-Yang Restaurant.

But tragedy struck us last Friday afternoon when my Mother-in-Law had to be rushed to the nearest hospital when she complained of headache and dizziness.

Our concerns turned into nightmare when upon arriving at the hospital she fell asleep and closed her eyes. Despite all our effort of keeping her awake she fall asleep and went into coma.

Today (July 7, 2008) this afternoon at exactly 3:00 p.m. I received the bad news from my daughter that my mother-in-law succumbs to aneurism. I have to report for work this morning to finish some report and sign some documents.

Exactly three days before our wedding Anniversary we are mourning the death of my mother-in-law. The best mother-in-law anyone could have had in contrast to other people depicting of how-mother-in-law is. She is perfect epitome of caring, loving and understanding mother-in-law that sometimes my wife is being jealous that she always sided with me in some of our arguments.

Eleven years ago my mother also died on this month of July. Her death happened on the 9^th of July.

July is the month of my wedding anniversary and now the month also of death anniversaries of both mothers’ I managed to have.

Yun nga ang catch dun, nanaisin na lang niya patayin siya kesa buhayin siya na ganun ang kalagayan niya. Hindi naman natin siya pag bibigyan kasi nga ay kasalan ang pumatay ng tao. Anong say niyo?

The areas will be Aceh Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Maladiv, Bombay. And many people will die.

The result was - the earthquake happened at 7:58 a.m. on 26^th Dec. More than 200000 people died. The biggest tsunami was about 30 meters high. A lot people were killed by the tsunami. He also sent the same letter to Indonesia , Philippines, Thailand and other Embassies. He also received a letter of thanks from these countries.

The thank-you letter from Meigawadi said "About the 2004 earthquake and tsunami, to prevent the disaster, we must do a lot of things, but on the other hand, we can do nothing". Ito ang napili ko na isa sa favorite ko "Lang-magu To-its".Kasi naman dito ko napaniwala ang frend ko na talo ang U.S.A. (Amerika) sa pinoy kapag raket ang pinag-usapan. Walang panama mga Amerkano sa tin tol !

Pinipilit ba naman niya sa akin na pinaka maraming rocket daw sa Amerika. Sabi ko dito sa Pinas ang pinaka maraming racket.

Good luck my Friend!

I was able to bump with my long lost friend whom I have never seen for the past 10 years.

Despite the years he never changed in appearance and in manner of speaking. He is the same Bobot that I knew.

We decided to take our snacks in the nearby fast food joint and continued our conversation. We were discussing our old funny self when I unconsciously touched a sensitive nerve. It was when I asked him if he was still connected with the same company.

Yes he is but that their company now had gone to the dogs. Promotion now is not based on What-you-Know but on Whom-you-know. Different set of rules for different kinds of people. The saying that “Who has the gold rules” is true and he added that those who got the connection is King.

Personnel are being hired not on qualification but on based on “Kamag-anak and Kakilala syndrome”. I can sense the bitterness in his every statement that he is dishing out against his present company. The morale of responsible employee was so low that affected their performance. He is now waiting for the proper time and is intent in leaving the organization and will start a small business of his own.

What is funny according to him was when a terminated (with cause) lady employee was able to return in the company.

We separated after a few hours and he left me with a question of who is the loser in their organization?

I can sympathize with my friend and wish him the best of luck. How many in us are in the same predicament as he is right now? Sometimes things like this do happen and would make us act. Some just lick their wound and pretend to be blind oblivious of the things happening around them.

Broken Home

It is really heart breaking to hear that somebody's marriage have finally come to a close. Somebody that is very close to my family. Last Friday this sad news was given (through text) to me.

Back 3 years ago, I am one of those called to help settle or save this marriage. Together with some of relative of both parties, I was able to iron out things and have convinced both of them to give their marriage another try. They both acknowledge their mistakes and short sightedness. A lot of things should be done and a lot of things to be adjusted. From that day on, I am optimistic and was looking forward to a more mature relationship.

We thought that they going great because they were able to add another child.

Two 2 kids both boys, one is 6 years old and the other 2 years of age would be another member of a broken family.

What went wrong?

They owned a nice home complete with all the comfort of life can give. They have a van and a tricycle that they used as business (for their source of income). They were also given another motorbike that they can use as a service vehicle. What happened? They have forgotten their wedding vow "…in sickness and in health, Till Death Do Us Part."

Distance:

He is now in another country earning a living and she now lives in her parent's home. They have sold all three vehicles and the money was used in his going abroad. Each one points an accusing finger of who among them started a wrongdoing. Lot's of heated arguments over the phone and exchanges of foul language and bad word had happened. A lesson on Communication 101- How I love you before but now no more!

They say distance can make the heart grow ponder. Distance can make the heart wander.

Saving Marriage:

This marriage is beyond saving as I was told that the husband has given the wife a permission that she could "marry" anytime she found one and he would do the same. Just like that, and no regards about the law on marriage. Like a kid that says to his/her playmates "ayawan na"(Let us end this game) if the game turned sour ("pikon").

The End:

In the end the real victim here are the innocent children who would grow up not knowing the reason they are a product of irresponsible parent.

I am just hoping that if this two people were able to find another partner, it should not end this way again creating more victims - Their Children.
